Spanish (PreK-8)

SPANISH is taught in grades PreK - Grade 8 in order to foster appreciation of world culture. Students engage in learning activities that promote language acquisition through the study of vocabulary, which includes such topics as: prayers, greetings, colors, numbers, calendar, weather, school supplies, food, family, house, body, and clothing. The study of grammar includes subject, pronouns, and present tense verb conjugation. An emphasis is placed on Spanish culture and customs, highlighting religious observances.
